TapTeach is an engagement platform for the classroom that uses Bluetooth technology to deliver the connected digital experience that classrooms have been missing. By giving districts and educators the tool they need to manage and deploy mobile devices in their classroom, TapTeach provides the means to fully realize the potential of iOS in the classroom.

Using the TapTeach beacons provided with your active account, educators create engagement zones in the classroom, assign content to those zones, and engage their students in powerful and indelible ways.The app will continually monitor if the students and guest proximity is within boundary of your TapTeach beacons. When within the define boundary of the beacon, the app will notify them with a push notification of available content.

TapTeach does not use GPS or continually monitor GPS location. All location request is to monitor if a device enters or exist the boundary of a TapTeach beacon that is detected by the use of enabled Bluetooth.

Continued use of location services running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
